The Unione Parmense degli Industriali, in collaboration with Confindustria Piccola Industria, Intesa Sanpaolo and Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici, organized a conference on “Industry 4.0” themes entitled “Designing  the future. Acceleration, digital transformation, competitiveness” on Friday, March 17, 2017. The event, with an innovative formula, was realized within the CFT Spa plant, via Paradigna 94 / a, Parma, boasting among the speakers, important representatives of the European Commission (Mr. Sandro D’Elia), of Confindustria, of Intesa Sanpaolo and industry experts.

During the morning were presented the Intesa Sanpaolo and Confindustria Piccola Industria agreement in support of the Industry Plan 4.0, and the experiences of SMILE Digital Innovation Hubs in favor of SMEs. It was also possible attend a demonstration of industry-leading application 4.0, a use case of “Remote assistance to plants”.

In the early afternoon, after the introduction of SMILE, Digital Innovation Hub in Parma, three thematic tables / focus groups were introduced, to which entrepreneurs and business technicians were able to participate, on various technologies that enabled Industry 4.0.

Participants: 120 enrolled in the plenary session, 40 entrepreneurs participate in the 3 focus groups
