The operational phase of the European project DIHCUBE, Digital Innovation Hub for Construction and Built Environment, coordinated by ANCE, co-financed by the European Commission and supported by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy which is finalizing its commitment through the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, began with the kick-off meeting on Tuesday 6 December 2022.

DIHCUBE brings together the main players in innovation for construction and the built environment in Italy in a single Hub and brings together, for the first time in years, the best national expertise in the field. The project aims to promote the construction sector by focusing on digitization, energy transition, redevelopment of territories and the relationship between the built and natural environment.

Among the twelve partners, which already offer a wide range of services to businesses and Public Administrations, there is also SMILE-DIH, founded in 2018 by the Unione Parmense degli Industriali and the University of Parma, engaged in all six Work Packages envisaged but in particular in the provision of pre-investment testing services (including consultancy and evaluation through assessment) and training and skills development.

The ANCE system network, present throughout the national territory, will be the focal point for involving companies in the sector and ensuring the effective and effective achievement of the project objectives.
