On Tuesday 12 November 2019, at the end of the first day of opening, the front-office for the submission of applications to request the facilities provided for by the call for research and development projects in the “Agrifood”, “Smart Factory” and “Lifescience” sectors was closed.

The calls were related to the National Smart Specialization Strategy.

153 project proposals were presented by companies that carry out industrial, agro-industrial, artisan and service industry activities.

In particular:

  • 89 for the “Smart Factory” sector;
  • 32 for the “Agrifood” sector;
  • 32 for the “Lifescience” sector.

The investments in research and development that can be activated total a total of 1,451,455,639 euros against the subsidies requested for 711,580,694 euros, which exceed the amount of resources allocated to the Innovation Agreements from the subsidized intervention envisaged by the ministerial decree 2 August 2019.

Instead, the front-office for the presentation of the proposals relating to the “High performance computing” sector remains open, for the co-financing of the project proposals of the Italian companies selected in European tenders, currently being issued, by the joint electronic processing company of high performance (EuroHPC).
